Qualifications & Experience:
•Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
•At least 5 years’ experience as a SAP technical consultant or similar role in a large corporate environment
•Experience in SAP ERP System support or related
•Certification in COBIT 5 and ITIL V3 will be an added advantage
•Hands on experience with programming languages such as Java, c#, Python, ABAP, .Net Development Framework, etc.
•Experience with Data Visualization tools

Lead Software Developer Job Responsibility for Transnet Job Vacancy

Position outputs:
•Develop system design and technical specifications for all software development projects.
•Review, analyse and modify systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing of support application systems.
•Migration of code from Dev, QA and Production environment.
•Conduct end-to-end testing of code once migrated to new environments or connected to new business system environment.
•End-to-end testing of code.
•Adhering to coding standards, IT governance, audit requirements, privacy policies, business requirements, timelines, etc.
•Support Test Phases (SIT, UAT, etc.).
•Conduct demo sessions with stakeholders.
•Administer code fixes post code review.
•Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support and troubleshooting of software
application issues.
•Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and
enhance our existing systems.
•Compile detail statistics and graphs for monthly reports to show trends and optimise systems.

•Ensure all proper change management and problem management processes are followed.
