Qualifications & Experience:
Tertiary Qualifications
• CA (SA) with TIPP articles
Minimum Years Relevant Experience:
• 5 years management experience in similar Finance role

• Sound knowledge of SAP (Financial Models);

Senior Manager – Financial Accounting Job Responsibility for Transnet Job Vacancy

Position outputs:
Quality and Timeliness of Month-end, Interim and Year end Financial reporting.
Quality and Timeliness of Taxation Reporting
Quality and Timeliness of Cash Flow Reporting
Ensuring CFRCs are implemented and sustainable throughout reporting period
Responsible for co-ordination of external and internal audit reviews
Resolving Internal control issues identified through Location and other Audits
Optimise the use of SAP system to improve financial reporting for decision making purposes.
Addressing SAP Access Authorisations issues
Ensure compliance with the PFMA, NCA, Income Tax Act, IFRS and other applicable regulatory/statutory frameworks.
Manage Finance Department as to deliver acceptable service delivery to internal customers, including Exco presentations
and other ad hoc reports and presentations
Deliverance of Information to achieve Ports Act Alignment Tariff Stream Objectives
Attendance to Ad-Hoc requests
Provide financial support to the organisation
Develop and maintain Financial Policies
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
Decrease of turnover of key talent in both mission critical and non-critical positions
Implement succession and talent plans
Review employee performance against business objective delivery to achieve alignment between individual and TNPA
delivery.
